Description
Miniature model of an International DT 414 engine to use in your MOCS or as a desk topper. The real thing was an Inline 6 turbo diesel with a displacement of 414 ci (6.8L), making roughly 110 Horsepower. The engine had 7 main crankshaft bearings and a wet cylinder sleeve design, making it possible to rebuild while still in the frame. It was used in the International 966, 1066 (both 1971-76),986, and 1086 (both 1976-1981) tractors, as well as the model 815 and 915 combines. It proved to be a tough, reliable workhorse.
NOTE: When building the model, stretch a 2×2 rubber band around the half bush and 2×2 round plate on the front. This acts as a fan belt, giving the model some movement when used in a vehicle. The 1×1 round brick on the bottom serves to let the model stand on a table. Remove it when used in a MOC.
